Shinya, who looks so weak in his appearence, but yet, very powerful. According to the comments by other members, Shinya's character really like a girl. Also, he is the only member that doesn't smoke, and he always complain the smoking habit of others.
Shinya is very quiet, and seems to be not willing to express his feeling to others. Die and Kaoru had complaint about this before.

[Puppy] Pappy is the pet of Shinya, it's a male Papillon. It stays with Shinya since he was in Primary 3, Puppy is in his Osaka's home now. You can see his drawing of Puppy from here. Shinya had immitated Papilon's hairstyle before, check here. He's very happy with his Papillon hairstyle.

Shinya cut
his long hair in 1999, this is the most important event to him that year. His
hair were in an extreme poor condition and he made this decision finally. He
cut his hair on the day of recording the PV of Yokan, after he finished recording,
he told the hair stylist, "Please cut as you like." then his long
hair left him. Kaoru and Die joined the "hair-cut ceremony" also!
They cut Shinya's hair together witht he hair stylist. They seemed to be very
happy in cutting one's hair.
In the FC only live in 30/7, Shinya, Die and Kaoru talked about this event.
Die: Why do you cut your hair?
Fans: You lost love?
Kaoru: From boys?
Shinya: From the red-haired!

| Kaoru: | But he's full of human kindness, yet, also very fussy. He's the type that always use his intellect, and has some peculiarities also. |
| Die: | He seems to be wanna be charisma but that's totally unreasonable. His character is totally different than charisma. That's a mistake for him to be a member of a band! (laugh) |
| Toshiya: | He laughs more when compare to the very beginning. When I first know him, I think he is someone that doesn't laugh. When he is interested in something, he'll put most effort in it, and I think that's great. He put up mysterious viel for himself. |
| Kyo: | When I just get to know him, we go home by train together after practise, but we have nothing to talk. I think he's a super quiet people! He's the type that always do in his own way. |
